EASTER 2011

Easter has to be my absolute favorite holiday! Celebration of our Lord and the joy on the faces of the children when the splendid Easter egg hunt begins! Both Alli and Colt were great scavengers!

Here are a few pictures of Colt at daycare.
Thanks Aunt LaLa for taking these.  I sent a disposable camera for them to take pictures but have not developed yet so Alli's school pics will have to wait.

 Notice the FULL bucket!
SO PROUD

What a good friend. He stopped to help out Connor (or he may be stealing his eggs)!

Class picture on the slide. This was Colt's last day in the one year old room. He moved up the next Monday and he is doing SO good in the big boy class. He does much better with older kids!

EASTER AT NANA AND PAPAW'S HOUSE

Saturday we made Easter nests in hope for the Easter Bunny to come visit.  Alli sang Peter Cotton Tail enough to last 2 years!

Moss and Flowers

Alli filling her nest with Nana's Petunias

Colt stole flowers from Kenzie and Alli's nests to add to his own
Such a little boy!

Looks like Alli is mad but I think it was just the sun in her eyes.

And the traditional play time for Colt in Lucy's water bowl!

Sunday morning at the church Easter egg hunt

Tell my kids "Say cheese" and this is what you get.....

READY......SET.....GO.....

Notice how all the eggs in the background were already gone!
There were SO many kids!

Here is Alli's loot....

Colt....Still searching for his! He ended up with 2 eggs!

After church we were blessed to be able to spend the day with all of our family on the Hoffman side!
We had such a great time.

Bubbles!!!!!

I think the Easter Bunny came!

Ready to hunt!

Ready....set.....go!

OH YES.....Confetti eggs!

One for Papaw!

I think Colt found his favorite cousin! Juliann and Colt were playing so good together.
 Pinching noses I think.

And a holiday at the Meitzen's is never complete without a hay ride
Compliments of PAPAW.....

"Super Man" as Alli calls him when he has his sunglasses on.
 My sweet boy!

What an end to a great Easter!
