Spring break fun 2011

Spring break was cut a little short for me due to a bad weather make up day on Monday.  While the kids went to day care the rest of the week my job was to get the house in perfect order before we all went back to work and school.  So the second weekend of break we spent being lazy and having fun in Vienna with Nana and Papaw.  Here are some pictures of the weekend events.

Colt decided to try to get dressed himself in Alli's clothes. Unfortunately he chose the wrong article of clothing by putting her shorts on his head. after he got over the confusion of why it would not go OVER his head, he thought he was so funny!
Tree climbing in Vienna:
Alli had to try it out first on her own

Colt joined in the fun and it started out real great......

Alli thought it was funny when Colt grabbed on and it tickled her........

It all turned ugly when Colt latched on and started pulling clothes and hair! Typical sibling love.

Then Alli got smart and decided to move away! We were finally happy again.

Cart rides: Colt and Alli love to go for rides in the pasture with Papaw and Nana. It's always the first thing Alli asks for, and it's always to go check on the cows! Alli is just starting to drive the cart like a real pro. Now if she could only reach the pedal!

Movie Stars!

My little driver!

When we moved from Georgetown we had several fruit trees that we planned to plant.  When we had nowhere else to plant them we decided to add on to mom and dad's orchard. We planted about 10 trees/bushes.  Peaches, apples, plums, and blueberries! I was so happy to see they are doing well and producing like crazy!
This is the apple tree filled with apples.

This is my favorite tree.  The blooms on this peach are too pretty to miss.

Here are the first Bluebonnet pictures of the year! Mom's bluebonnets are beautiful! Now if we could just keep the kids from being grouchy we cold have a perfect picture.

I love this picture of the Bluebonnets and the flags in the background.

Playing on the porch before bath time......
Oh how peaceful they look!

Splash time!

Maybe no bath needed!
